Product & Building

A marketplace connecting communities through sustainable fashion events.

Co-founder & CEO

The problem

Slow fashion events were scattered across platforms. Customers struggled to find these events, and organizers struggled to reach the right community.

What we built

One platform to discover, create, and manage slow fashion events, connecting consumers, communities, and businesses while helping people understand the carbon footprint of their clothing choices.

My contribution

I led fundraising, growth, branding, and product design. I built our first version in Adalo to test the concept, then worked with my technical co-founder to evolve it into a more scalable platform.

Results

  • 10,000 users across eight U.S. cities.
  • More than 5,000 pieces of clothing swapped.

From outfit photo to shareable receipt, with a carbon footprint estimate built in.

Personal project

The problem

The outfit receipt trend turned everyday looks into itemized breakdowns of what people wore. Creating one meant manually removing backgrounds, arranging images, and formatting text in Canva. A single post could take 20 minutes or more.

What I built

A tool that automates the process. Upload an outfit photo, select the brands and materials, and Studio Meow removes the background, generates the receipt, and estimates carbon emissions based on the clothing, materials, and sourcing details.

The result

From 20+ minutes of manual editing to a ready-to-share outfit receipt in two minutes.

Product concept

People want to adopt more sustainable habits, but finding local resources takes effort. Green City Pals brings businesses, B Corps, donation and recycling centers, and green spaces into one searchable map.

My contribution

I developed the concept from initial sketches through product design, informed by interviews with 50 people.

Early interest

Businesses signed up to express interest in becoming early users.
